The article is prepared on the basis of a report at the section 'Global human problems in the mirror of foreign media' within the International scientific and practical conference 'Journalism in 2017: creation, profession, industry' that took place on 5–7 February, 2018 at the Faculty of Journalism, Lomonosov Moscow State University/

 

 Abstract

The report discusses the theoretical and practical aspects of the activities of mass media in the process of conflict management at different levels. The research focuses on American and European mass – media, covering the topics of international conflicts and wars.
