The article is based on the report presented during the conference "Discoursology: Potential of Interpretation of Humanitarian Knowledge", which took place in Yalta, at V.I. Vernadsky Crimean Federal University, from 28 to 29 September 2016.

 

Abstract

The study of the phenomenon of evaluation processes and mechanisms of evaluation carried out within various Humanities disciplines. In modern Russian linguistics, there are different approaches to the consideration of the assessment categories. Common to all definitions of evaluation is an indication of the attitude of the speaker to inform. Formation evaluation statements, which formed a creolized text and gradually inspired to the addressee, can be considered one of the effective methods of manipulation. Visual-verbal metaphor, having a manipulative potential, performs a suggestive feature in the creolized text cartoons. Creolization can be seen as a manipulative way of presenting information in mass media.
